Recipe To Riches Episode #4 Winner - Vegie Samosas

Recipe to Riches, with her original culinary creation, Manju’s Authentic Vegetable Samosas.   Manju’s Authentic Vegetable Samosas outperformed Leo Panetta (VIC)’s Chimichurri and Nillawan Thanakamonnan (SA)’s Stir-fry XO Sauce, and is now in the running to secure the grand prize of $100,000 and a partnership with Woolworths that could change her life.   Growing up in India, Manju loved the aromatic spices and exotic flavours found in Indian food. But after moving to Queensland in the 1980s, finding her dream samosa proved elusive. So, despite never learning to cook, she began to make samosas using her childhood memory of family dinners in India.   Manju’s samosas became an instant hit among her close friends and family and can now be enjoyed by Australians nationwide. Perfect for entertaining, these tasty treats feature traditional Indian ingredients, fragrant spices and hot chilli wrapped in crispy golden pastry.   Based on a much-loved home recipe, Manju’s fragrantly spiced vegetable samosas will hit Woolworths stores nationwide tomorrow (Wednesday, September 18), on sale for a limited time only. To celebrate, Manju will be sampling Authentic Vegetable Samosas at her local store: Woolworths Indooroopilly, from 11am to 1pm on Wednesday, September 18. Recipes to Riches. On TEN. Tuesdays, 7.30pm. Join the conversation: facebook.com/reciperichesau twitter.com/reciperichesau @reciperichesAU]]>
