Recipe to Riches, with her original culinary creation, Sweet Billie’s. Vicki’s deliciously soft chocolate sandwich cookies outperformed Katherine Keiler (QLD)’s Apple Pie Balls and Kara Jensen-Mackinnon (NSW)’s Salted Caramel Sticky Date Pudding, and is now in the running to secure the grand prize of $100,000 and a partnership with Woolworths that could change her life. American-raised Vicki grew up with a mother and a grandmother who loved baking, and their love of cookies and sweet pies has been well and truly passed on to her. Sweet Billie’s were born when Vicki decided to sandwich her famous cookies between a chocolate filling. The response from her friends was a deep, resounding and wholly satisfied “OMG” and now the rest of Australia can enjoy these sweet treats for themselves. Based on a much-loved home recipe, Vicki’s Sweet Billie’s will hit Woolworths stores nationwide tomorrow (Wednesday, September 25)  and will be on sale for a limited time only.
