Sailor Jerry's kicks off the first ever Jerry Can Ride!

Welcome to the first ever ‘Jerry Can Ride’ by Sailor Jerry.  This ride is not for the faint-hearted or small-minded. This ride is dirty fingernails, white knuckles and growling engines.  It’s custom bikes, original rides and independent spirits.  So if you can’t hack it, don’t pack for it.

We have 2000 km of avoiding the latest trends, and finding the hidden gems.  We will hit the hills of Victoria to the wide open coast roads of Queensland.  Our travelling troupe will drive into small towns and big cities and wreak some serious fun.  There will be friendships made (and some tested), ‘interesting’ local characters discovered and some good old fashioned, hand-crafted madness each day.  And all of it will be made into a real life, on-the-road mini-doco series.

Like Sailor Jerry Spiced Rum, this ride is straight-up.  It won’t be swanky hotels and lobster tail, but it will include a good dose of grease, BBQs and stories.  It’s going to be fast and some  bikes may not make it, but this will be the best trip of the year.  The ‘Jerry Can Ride’ is held in honour of Norman ‘Sailor Jerry’ Collins, the un-disputed father of the American, old school tattoo.  He lived one hell of a life.  May we all do the same.

“Sometimes I wonder how I ever got mixed up in all this in the first place.”  – Norman ‘Sailor Jerry’ Collins 1911 – 1973
