Brisbane’s Alyshia Morris is making waves in the swimwear industry with the launch of her successful label last year, and launching their second collection, Endless Summer this year.
The label was born after Alyshia’s personal experiences and struggling for years to locate a fashionable one-piece, that was comfortable and most importantly, sun-safe.

The mother of three understands the importance of sun safety after a melanoma diagnosis in 2013, which played a considerable role in her inspiration to launch Shade Swim.

“At 32, and with two babies at the time, it was a real shock. Fortunately, they were successfully removed, and I was extremely lucky.” Alyshia is now vigilant in the sun and wants to support Australians to protect themselves this summer from that harsh Aussie sun.

The label sets out to encourage you to be the best version of yourself and to be happy in your own skin while also being sun safe. Their swimsuits are made right here in Brisbane from sustainable lycra and working with a range of local, female-led businesses.

Shade Swim’s newest collection has evolved from its timeless Grace Range, which remains a hit with women across the country.
To now the Endless Summer collection featuring a new range of flattering fashion-forward sleeve lengths and fresh colours in a variety of hand-designed prints as part of a collaboration with Brisbane Textile Designer Britt La Spina.

“Alyshia came to me wanting to add some gorgeous prints to her range, so we worked together to create the classic, yet trendy leopard and feminine Rosita print.” Britt said.

The locally-made collection caters for women of all sizes with swimsuits from size eight to eighteen with more sizes coming to the brand next season.
Each swimsuit is made from a sun-safe UPF 50+ fabric and features innovative SFT Technology ( Smooth Firm Tighten ) and a soft moulded bra sewn in for bust support.

So whether you’re planning on spending your summer and Christmas holidays by the beach, or poolside in some tropical destination we’re sure you’ll find something you like at Shade Swim.
