Sheppard have surprised fans, this week unleashing not only a new video for their single ‘A-Grade Playa’, but also a beautiful reworking of their global smash ‘Geronimo’. The band were prompted by fans to head into the studio after performing a stunning new rendition of the song on the Today Show during a fleeting visit home a few weeks ago between their sell-out show at The Roxy in LA and their current European tour. ‘Geronimo (Redux)’ brings the sweetness in the voices of George and Amy to the forefront, weaving around an understated piano line, breathing new life into their US platinum smash. “We were so happy with how the song turned out when we performed it in this stripped–back setting, but then we saw the response on social media and thought it wasn’t just us—it had obviously struck a chord!” said George Sheppard. The band have also released the video for ‘A-Grade Playa’, the final single from the band’s gold album ‘Bombs Away’ which features a passionate empowered vocal from Amy. “We’ve had such a huge year of traveling so sometimes it’s really great to bring something new to fans,” said Amy Sheppard. “I’m especially happy that our Australian fans get to see this one first before the rest of the world!”]]>
