Snow Machine is bringing its frosty festivities back to New Zealand for a fifth edition, with the alpine music festival returning to Queenstown from 8 to 13 September 2026.
The event will feature performances across eight winter wonderland stages, including the Main Arena, on-mountain apres stages, Coronet Peak, and The Remarkables, all enhanced by snow making. Headlining the 2026 edition are Chet Faker, Ninajirachi, Restricted and more, with additional international and local acts still to be announced.
Melbourne artist Chet Faker, real name Nicholas Murphy, is known for blending electronica with soulful R&B vocals. He gained international attention with his 2011 cover of Blackstreet’s “No Diggity” and has since released three studio albums, earning critical acclaim and a dedicated global fanbase.
Australian DJ Ninajirachi recently claimed four spots in triple j’s Hottest 100. The producer has been praised for pushing the boundaries of the Australian electronic scene with her unique style, incorporating hyperpop with an internet nostalgia Y2K aesthetic she describes as “girl EDM”.

Adelaide DJ Restricted, real name Rhys Sfyrios, has become one of the most talked about names in the hard dance scene. His high-energy tracks blend elements of industrial, hardcore and rawstyle, accumulating half a billion streams and creating viral moments across TikTok.
Melbourne electronic duo Orkestrated, comprising veteran DJs and producers Dean Paps and Adam Bartas, will also perform. Best known for their track “Melbourne Bounce”, the pair are considered pioneers of the Melbourne electronic scene.
International acts joining the lineup include London drum and bass producer Kanine, recognised as one of the leading names in the new wave of drum and bass with tracks like “Your Love” and “Want You”, and Swiss-South African DJ Nora En Pure. Real name Daniela Niederer, Nora En Pure is globally renowned for her cinematic soundscapes and ethereal performances.
Snow Machine blends a premium winter holiday with a multi-day music festival. During daylight hours, attendees can hit the slopes at The Remarkables and Coronet Peak, or dance atop the mountains as DJs and live acts perform. When the sun sets, the party shifts to the Snow Machine main arena for performances late into the night
