Some Of The Fun Laid Back Activities You Can Indulge In When Staying At Gold Coast

Some Of The Fun Laid Back Activities You Can Indulge In When Staying At Gold Coast

Fantastic activities for people of all ages and interests can be found all throughout the Gold Coast. There is a wide variety of one-of-a-kind experiences available, from listening to live music to dining on delicious cuisine, from soaking in an outdoor jacuzzi with a view of the mountains to creating your own pottery plates.

People often think of the Gold Coast amusement parks and the Currumbin Wildlife Sanctuary when they imagine what to do in this attractive beachfront city. However, this is only the beginning.

Currumbin Valley Rocks Pools

Cool down in the natural surroundings of these rock pools, a favorite among locals. Driving inland from the shore is a pleasant, picturesque fifteen-minute journey. Across the street is a nice cafe serving up handmade delicacies, and there is a hanging swing nearby.

Be prepared for crowds on the weekends; it’s a popular family activity on the Gold Coast.

Paddleboarding

Currumbin Creek is renowned as one of the Gold Coast’s most popular hangouts (or Tallebudgera Creek). As a result of the constant tranquility and clarity of the water, stand-up paddleboarding is a popular pastime here. To get around if you don’t have your own, you may rent one for a day or two.

Go To A Pub

From English to Irish pubs the gold coast isn’t short on pubs. While you’re chilling and drinking at the pub, you can also indulge in playing a few games on your mobile device. Such games include casino games, in which you can also get the chance to win some extra money, and possibly buy a few drinks to learn more about online casinos you can read here.

Glamping

Many places to stay on the Gold Coast are quite remarkable. Beechmont is located just a few ways into the Gold Coast’s hinterland. Waterfalls, watering holes, and hiking routes abound in this area.

Relax in the outside bathtub while enjoying the fire pit, wine, & hospitality of your hosts during this luxurious camping experience.

Spend The Day On Moreton Island

Just a few hours off the Gold Coast, Moreton Island is home to stunning sand dunes and snorkeling hotspots. Both the Gold Coast and Brisbane provide ferry rides across to the island, or you may take a guided tour.

Wakeboarding on the sands, snorkeling at the Tangalooma Wrecks, and kayaking along the coral reef are all part of an adventure tour across the island. This exciting tour has a beachside picnic where you can relax and take in the tropical atmosphere of Moreton Island.

Enjoy Some Live Music At Mo’s Desert Club

Mo’s Desert Club is the place to be on the Gold Coast if you want to avoid the typical tourist traps. The art, music, and vintage rock and roll vibes at this venue draw inspiration from Americana.

They provide monthly performances by local artists, in addition to yoga and other activities. The venue is also available for rehearsals and special events.

Take In The Scenery From The Highest Point In Q1

The Q1 observation deck is a popular destination for visitors to the Gold Coast. At 78 stories, this vantage point affords a breathtaking panorama of the glittering Gold Coast below.
The Skypoint Observation Deck, a rooftop bar, and the rooftop itself, with its exposed, windy fence, are both great places to take in the view. Guided tours along the walking trail will give you a true appreciation for the height of this attraction.

Cambus Wallace cocktail, that is.

The bar at Nobby’s Beach has a nautical theme. It’s based on the true account of a shipwreck that happened off the Gold Coast in 1983 and has the same name.

Delicious drinks and small meals are served with rock and roll music played on vinyl record players at this Gold Coast hidden gem.

Swells on the Gold Coast for Surfing

One of the must-do activities on the Gold Coast is to ride a wave. The culture of the Gold Coast is inextricably intertwined with surfing. There are, however, many opportunities for novice riders to get their feet wet. Bodyboarding, often known as “boogie boarding,” is a common water activity because to its low entry barrier. However, one option for people interested in surfing is to take lessons at a local beach.
