Step inside the stunning new venue by award-winning Chef and Restauranteur Daniel Ridgeway and wife Ruggie; Palm Beach Ave is a bright and modern art deco-inspired restaurant and cafe.
Serving a contemporary Australian menu, seating over 150 diners and boasting an all-weather balcony with ocean views, you are sure to enjoy your experience at Palm Beach Ave; they even have a spot for you to bring along your dog and get them something off their own doggy menu.
“We had a vision to create a venue that would pay homage to the local area. Coastal, relaxed, unpretentious, but still have a slick fit out that anyone in board shorts to a suit would feel comfortable. As with all our Ridgeway Group locations, we will source local quality produce and deliver a food offering that will please. We are now open.” said chef and owner, Daniel Ridgeway.
The venue will be open Wednesday to Sunday from 7 am until late, operating for Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner and is the first of Ridgeaways venues to offer breakfast.
“Due to the location, it wouldn’t feel right if we were not open for breakfast. Our breakfast menu has some classics like Eggs Benny and bacon & egg rolls, through to savoury waffles with karaage chicken.” said chef and owner, Daniel Ridgeway.
Breakfast will operate in very much a ‘café style’ with guests being able to order at the counter or via QR code from their table. Breakfast is available until 11.30 am.
The lunch menu kicks off at 12 pm – 4 pm. Some featured items include a prawn & bug roll, porcini mushroom arancini, salad and pizzas.
Dinner at Palm Beach Ave is available from 5 pm and will offer the QR code option or full table service. The vast menu includes oysters, pizza, pasta, burgers, rolls, grilled seafood and meats.
“This menu has been designed with my team to ensure there is something for everyone. As casual as a double cheeseburger to oysters, gold band snapper fillet or generous porterhouse steak. I am particularly excited about our raw section, featuring an array of fresh seafood including kingfish sashimi, flamed scallop sashimi and spicy tuna tartare.” said Daniel Ridgeway.
Other dinner dishes include Franks red hot buffalo wings, sticky pork salad, prawn & bug agnolotti, ragu bolognaise pappardelle, salmon fillet and a lemon and herb spatchcock chicken. Palm Beach Ave will also boast an extensive wine collection.
Your pampered pooch will also be spoilt for choice with their own Doggy menu, including ‘BFF bowl’ with jasmine rice, premium ground beef, boiled carrots or the ‘Who’s a good dog’ with roasted chicken breast and finely shredded steamed vegetables.
“This is next-level food for your four-legged bestie. We even have a doggy drinks menu, too, all natural and no alcohol but a special blend just for dogs, including the L’Barkery pawroni and pawsecco. So even your pooch can be spoilt at Palm Beach Ave in our outdoor garden area.” said Daniel Ridgeway.
Daniel will be head up the kitchen at Palm Beach Ave, along with his head chef from Little Truffle, Jason Burt. Also joining the team as venue manager is Brad Wakefield, who boasts experience in some of the Queensland’s most award-winning venues including Husk Distillery, Crystalbrook Byron, Halcyon House and Gerards Bar.
