Discover the new Mondrian Lounge at Platinum redefining private aviation and luxury travel on the Gold Coast.

Platinum Business Aviation Centre has joined forces with Mondrian Gold Coast to launch the Mondrian Lounge at Platinum. Positioned within the award-winning private aviation terminal at Gold Coast Airport, the facility is the first collaboration of its kind in Australia or New Zealand.

This partnership signals a clear evolution in regional private travel by merging seamless aircraft handling with high-end hospitality. The operators say the lounge transforms the pre-flight experience by providing a calm, private space for passengers and crew before departure or on arrival.
Designed in direct collaboration with Mondrian Gold Coast, the lounge environment draws heavily on hotel aesthetics and aims to deliver hospitality aligned with iconic hotels standards.

Joe Stenning, General Manager of Platinum Business Aviation Centre, positions the lounge as a new benchmark for regional facilities. "The introduction of the Mondrian Lounge at Platinum represents a new era for the private aviation experience in Australia," he said. "By partnering with Mondrian Gold Coast, we are bringing together world-class aviation services and world-renowned luxury hospitality to create something truly unique for our guests".

From the hotel's perspective, the move into aviation is a logical brand extension. Letitia Vitale, Co-Managing Partner of Vitale Property Group and co-owner of Mondrian Gold Coast, noted the alignment with the property's core philosophy. "Mondrian is synonymous with culture, design and elevated lifestyle experiences. Partnering with Platinum allows us to extend that philosophy directly into the private aviation journey," she stated.

The facility is set to serve as a signature transit point for aircraft owners, guests, VIP travellers, and international visitors. Ultimately, the venture reflects the continued growth of the Gold Coast as a premium international destination and reinforces Platinum’s reputation in the Asia-Pacific region.
