Opening its doors on Saturday, 3rd June 2023, this enchanting venue will be operational for a limited period of time, for just 12 weeks, every Friday to Sunday, from 11 am to late.
Artesian Hospitality, the proud owners of Cali Beach aka The Rooftop Lodge, have spared no expense, investing a whopping $350,000 to create a stunning new atmosphere within the premises of Cali Beach. Visitors can expect a range of exciting features, including a state-of-the-art ice-skating rink, cosy fire pits, ice-hockey machines, an interactive simulator, captivating pop-up performances, and enticing food stalls.
The Rooftop Lodge promises something for everyone, with a diverse array of offerings tailored to suit different tastes and preferences. Whether you wish to spend an hour or indulge in a full day of winter wonders, the venue provides various walk-in seating and dining options, as well as packages for those seeking a more lavish experience.
At The Rooftop Lodge, guests are invited to savour delectable cuisine and exquisite cocktails amidst a backdrop of 60 snow-capped trees, flickering fire pits, and simulated snowfall. It’s an experience reminiscent of dining among the Swiss Alps or enjoying a drink at a bar in Whistler. Of course, what would winter be without ice skating? The volleyball courts have been temporarily tucked away to make room for a magnificent, purpose-built ice-skating rink where guests can glide to their favourite tunes all winter long.
For those seeking a casual dining experience, the market stalls offer a delightful selection of charcuterie boards, fondue, and marshmallows perfect for roasting over the fires. If you prefer a more indulgent meal, make a booking at the View Deck and treat yourself to a specially crafted Winter menu, expertly paired with frosty delights such as the Snowball Martini, Elsa Slushy, or Lit Cocoa.
Adding a touch of elegance, The Rooftop Lodge has joined forces with Veuve Clicquot to present “Clicquot in the Snow” – an exclusive igloo experience designed for you and up to six friends. Step into a world where Veuve Clicquot decor and champagne take centre stage. This extraordinary experience includes express entry, a bottle of Veuve Clicquot, a signature winter cocktail for each guest, and a delectable food platter, all for just $350. The Veuve Clicquot igloos are reserved for private use and feature cosy furnishings that transport you to a warm mountain chalet.
Additionally, Cali’s iconic cabanas will be transformed into luxurious alpine lodges with new facades, fire pits, and decor, evoking the ambiance of a Swiss ski village – but with a VIP touch, of course. These lodges, ideal for groups of up to 25 people, offer a more indulgent experience, complete with fully functioning hot tubs. For those who desire the ultimate luxury, the lodges can be upgraded to include your personal bar staff, bottle service, and delectable cuisine.
The Winter Lodge at The Rooftop Lodge offers an array of activities to keep guests entertained, including ice-hockey machines and an interactive simulator that will warm you from the inside out. And if that’s not enough to stave off the chill, fear not, as fire pits and blankets will be available throughout the venue’s standing and seating areas. Specially designed feather-down jackets will also be available for purchase, ensuring maximum comfort during your visit.
