Roll into Surfers Paradise for a 4-day skate spectacular that won’t cost you a dime. From Thursday, 29 June to Sunday, 2 July 2023, Paradise Centre in Surfers Paradise will undergo a transformation into a skateboarding mecca. Get ready for an exhilarating experience filled with kickflips, ollies, and non-stop action.
During these four action-packed days, this beachside destination will be the ultimate host to an impressive 7m x 5m skate ramp. Brace yourself for semi-pro skate shows, breakdancing performances, awesome kids’ workshops, exciting giveaways, and much more. So grab your kneepads, fasten your helmet, and get ready to immerse yourself in the world of skateboarding.
Whether your child is a beginner or the next Tony Hawk, they are guaranteed to love the free skateboarding clinics hosted by the local crew from Rock N Slide Skateboarding. These clinics will be held every hour at 11 am, 12 pm, and 1 pm daily. Open to kids aged 4-12 years, each participant will receive a complimentary drawstring skate bag filled with freebies and discounts from Paradise Centre retailers. Plus, they’ll have the chance to win one of four Fast Times Skateboarding skateboards. Winners will be drawn daily at 2 pm.
From 12 pm to 4 pm, make your way to the Paradise Parlour on level one near Zone Bowling. Here, you can indulge in a free temporary tattoo at our pop-up parlour. Strike a pose in front of our neon wall with your freshly applied tattoo and enjoy some free fairy floss to sweeten the deal.
The beachfront dining precinct will be buzzing with activity throughout the afternoon. Prepare to be entertained by free breakdancing shows, roving performers, DJs, and semi-pro skate performances on the ramp from 2 pm to 6 pm.
