Fans across Australia eagerly anticipating Usher’s “Past Present Future” tour will be disappointed to learn that all scheduled shows for November and December 2025 have been cancelled. The news comes directly from tour promoter Live Nation, who issued a statement confirming the cancellation.
Usher was set to make his long-awaited return to Australia, with multiple dates planned for both Melbourne’s Rod Laver Arena and Sydney’s Qudos Bank Arena. The tour, which was to celebrate his illustrious 30-year career, had seen such high demand that additional shows were added in both cities.
Live Nation’s statement reads: “We regret to advise USHER’s Australian tour, scheduled to take place in November/December, will no longer be proceeding. All ticket holders will receive an automatic refund. For any further refund enquiries please contact your point of purchase.”
Ticketholders will not need to take any action, as all tickets, including those with refundable ticket purchases, will be automatically refunded in full to the original payment method used. Fans are advised to allow approximately 30 business days for the refund to appear in their accounts.
While no official reason for the cancellation has been provided by Usher or Live Nation, this marks a significant setback for Australian R&B fans who were looking forward to seeing the global superstar perform hits like “Yeah!” and “U Got It Bad,” alongside tracks from his latest album, Coming Home.
