It’s almost time for our favourite event in the music calendar, and it just so happens to be the 20th year of Splendour in the Grass and they’ve put together one hell of a lineup perfect for the occasion.
Twenty years of road trips, great friends and the best musical moments and kicking on till sunrise in the campground and making new friends in the tipi forest at all hours of the day.
Every one of us here at gcmag has a Splendour in the Grass Story, some more interesting than others and we’ve even hired one of our team members in the campground and he still works with us today seven years on.
Splendour in the Grass’s forever home at North Byron Parklands sure has cemented it as the must-attend event of the calendar with its natural amphitheatre which becomes its own health challenge after three days of alcohol and lack of sleep.
So picture the weather is a little cooler, the car is packed and you’re on your way to the promised land of Splendour in the Grass to see over 100 of the world’s most exciting acts and kick on to all hours with friends new and old.
