ULTRA Worldwide has announced the return of its Australian festival dates for 2027, bringing top-tier electronic music back to the country across two states on April 17 and 18. While Melbourne hosts ULTRA Australia at Flemington Racecourse for its eighth instalment on Saturday, April 17, festival focus shifts north the following day for a milestone edition on the Gold Coast.
On Sunday, April 18, 2027, ULTRA Beach Gold Coast returns for its fourth edition, making its official debut at Doug Jennings Park.
The relocation to Doug Jennings Park places the festival on The Spit in Main Beach, introducing an expansive waterfront setting for the event. Surrounded by iconic coastal scenery, the venue features vast open-air grounds with sweeping views across the Broadwater and the Gold Coast Seaway, providing a fitting new home for the gathering.
The Gold Coast event forms part of the broader ULTRA Worldwide family, recognised as the world’s most international music festival brand with active events across six inhabited continents, including its flagship Ultra Music Festival in Miami.
Introducing the RESISTANCE Stage
In addition to its new venue, ULTRA Beach Gold Coast 2027 will introduce a dedicated RESISTANCE Stage for the first time in the festival’s history. This additions expands the event’s house and techno programming, bringing the thumping underground sounds of ULTRA Worldwide’s esteemed house and techno brand directly to the Gold Coast waterfront.
While specific artist lineups for 2027 are yet to be revealed, previous editions of ULTRA Australia and ULTRA Beach Gold Coast have featured high-profile international acts including Afrojack, Alesso, Armin van Buuren, Axwell, Carl Cox, Hardwell, Knock2, Martin Garrix, Steve Aoki, Timmy Trumpet, and Zedd.
