Broc Feeney is aiming to rebuild his championship momentum as the Repco Supercars Championship heads to New Zealand for its first double header.
The 23-year-old driver lost his championship lead after suffering a nasty crash during the final race of the Melbourne SuperSprint last month. Now, the Gold Coast resident is eager to return to form across an intense schedule of six races in an eight-day span.
Feeney has secured three wins in 2026 and holds 29 career victories in Supercars, but he has yet to win a race outside of Australian soil. He will have multiple opportunities to change this record, starting this weekend at the ITM Taupō Super 440 on the North Island, followed by the inaugural ITM Christchurch Super 440 at Ruapuna Raceway next weekend.
The event schedule begins Thursday with the popular Track to Town festivities, where the entire 24-car Supercars field will drive from Taupō International Motorsport Park into the Taupō CBD. Fans can view the cars at this free public event from 4:00 to 5:00 p.m. NZST. On-track action starts Friday with practice, leading into two 120-kilometre races on Saturday and a single 200-kilometre race on Sunday.
The driver who accumulates the most points across both the Taupō and Christchurch events will be awarded the Jason Richards Memorial Trophy, honouring the Kiwi driver who succumbed to cancer in 2011.
Fans can watch live coverage of the ITM Taupō Super 440 on Kayo and Foxtel in Australia, and Sky Sport in New Zealand. Tickets and corporate hospitality are available via Supercars.com and Ticketek.
