Sean Culverston, a Senior Brewer at Burleigh Brewing, is set to undergo a makeover and shave off his dreadlocks of 17 years, all to raise money for the fight against blood cancer in this year’s World’s Greatest Shave.
Sean is hoping to raise $5000, the funds will help provide families facing blood cancer the emotional and practical support they need, as well as funding vital research to help not only more people survive blood cancers but improve their quality of life.
“Rope head, mop head … I’ve heard it all over the past 17 years of having the same haircut.
The thing I’ve heard most is that I should cut them off, so I’m asking people to put their
money where their mouth is!” Sean said.
To help Sean reach his target, Burleigh Brewing is offering a complimentary “Thank You” 4 pack of Burleigh craft beer to anyone who donates $50 or more, they are also matching dollar for dollar any donations by their employees.
You can also pop into the taphouse and grab a Burleigh Twisted Palm until Saturday 19th March, Burleigh Brewing will donate $1.
