Just when it seemed the party was ending, FISHER declared, “hold my Hard FIZZ!” Merely 24 hours after destroying the decks at the Out2Lunch festival in front of over 30,000 fans, this Grammy nominee surprised a small group of pub goers by performing again.
There he was, relaxing with friends at the Kirra Beach House, likely still fizzing from the night before. He came to support fellow Hard FIZZ owners, Rich Penny and Adam Bennetts, who were DJ’ing. A quiet night? Hardly.
The moment the crowd spotted him, they began to chant. Who could ignore a room full of fans chanting their name? Not FISHER! He rose to the occasion, and an impromptu set ensued, driving the crowd wild, and even crowd surfing across the room. Talk about delivering what the fans want!
“The excitement in that pub was insane,” he laughed. “I loved it. I was still riding the high from the previous night’s festival and didn’t want it to end. My friends, Rich and Adam, were spinning at the official Out2Lunch afterparty at Kirra Beach. So, I thought, ‘sure, I’ll join’.”
“Next thing, everyone’s going nuts when I walked in, so what do you do? You give ‘em what they want, that’s what. Fisher Said.
