As the city gears up for an electrifying weekend of motorsport as the 2023 Boost Mobile Gold Coast 500 approaches. Organisers of the GC500 have today announced a partnership between Mushroom Group and Supercars, and with that they have released a massive lineup of entertainment for this years event.
From October 27th to 29th, the streets of Surfers Paradise will come alive with the roar of engines and the sounds of some of Australia’s best live acts. Let’s take a closer look at the incredible lineup that awaits racegoers.
Friday Night: The Presets and John Course
Kicking off the weekend, The Presets will headline Friday night’s performance. This dynamic electronic duo has been a force to be reckoned with in the music industry for two decades. Hits like “My People,” “Are You the One?” and “Talk Like That” have garnered them seven ARIA Awards, an APRA Award, and a UK Music Video Award. Joined by the renowned DJ John Course, Friday night promises to be a high-energy start to the festivities.

Saturday Night: Client Liaison, Mashd N Kutcher, and DJ Total Eclipse
Saturday night at the GC500 takes a different turn with the Aussie Indie Pop duo Client Liaison. With three ARIA Music Award nominations and nearly 200,000 monthly listeners on Spotify, their performance is sure to be a highlight of the event. They will be joined by Brisbane’s Mashd N Kutcher, known for their exhilarating live performances that blend DJs and live instrumentalists. Opening the night is DJ Total Eclipse, a world-champion turntablist who has toured with some of the biggest names in music.

Sunday Night: Illy and Havana Brown
As the on track action wraps up on Sunday, the stage will come alive once more. ARIA winner Illy will take center stage. With two ARIAs and three APRA Awards to his name, including Best Urban Album and Best Australian Live Act, Illy’s performance is not to be missed. He has reached #1 on the ARIA charts, and hits like “Papercuts” have climbed to #2 on the national singles charts. Continuing the night of entertainment is Aussie DJ Havana Brown, a global sensation known for her remix of “We Run the Night” featuring Pit Bull, which reached #1 on the US Hot Dance Club Songs chart.
