Congratulations on Making it so far in the coveted miss universe Australia competition tell us a little about yourself …? Thankyou so much, I couldn’t be more excited for States in a couple of weeks. 2 months ago I embarked on a life changing journey and moved from my hometown of Perth to Brisbane. With a previous career in the Airline industry I currently work for a fashion boutique while I complete my Diploma in Nutritional Therapy and work towards my own business within health, fashion and public speaking.

Who or what inspired you to get involved in the Miss Universe Australia Pageant …? What drew you to such a competition ….? I have followed Miss Universe Pageant for many years now and have always felt proud and inspired by all the girls who are competing to make a difference. Through my own self confidence and a new start in a new state i decided to believe and push myself outside my comfort zone and inspire others who have at a time in their lives doubted their own self belief.

Speaking of inspiration who inspires you most …? The person I admire is my beautiful younger sister. A strong confident woman who is a hardworking, self motivated individual who doesn’t allow outside noise and opinions to discourage her from her goals and dreams. She is a joker at heart with a powerful soul.

If you are successful in the pageant you will become a possible inspiration or role model to many young girls how does this sit with you …?  This is something that definitely resonates with me. Through my own life I’ve had to work hard on self belief and push through challenges that have come my way. My aim is to shift the mindset of many young girls and show that through hard work, dedication and self belief anything you desire is possible.

And what do you consider are the attributes of a good role model …? The abilty to overcome obstacles and challenges with a passion to inspire others. A positive, hardworking individual who knows who she or he is and doesn’t get lost in their way. A Selflessness, kindhearted person with a acceptance of all individuals.

The Miss Universe Pageant has a long history of associating with charity are their any social causes that are particularly close to your heart that you would like to  use the platform of miss universe to advance …? I will be a advocate to body image and mental health disorders and a voice to those who are struggling to find reason.

What do you think will set you out from the rest  of the entrants competing in the 2015 competition …? My big smile, big personality and bold nature. To use my past as my inner strength and show the world anything is possible.

What would you say is your best style or beauty secret …?
Water, water water. I consume as much water I can every day. Not only is it great to keep me hydrated but flushes out bad toxins in the body.

And speaking of personal style fitness is fast becoming more and more a part of the person’s personal style … how would you describe your fitness regime …?
I love going for a fast walk. It clears my head, have some alone time and breath in some fresh oxygen. I also love going to the gym for a pumping weights workout. Weights are a great way to push you further and realise any tension throughout the body.

We all have a personal saying or particular mantra what would you say yours is ..? Juest Believe

Now the Quick 5

1. What is something people might find interesting about yourself …? I love Aeroplanes, Aviation, Airports anything to do with flying. I have even jumped out of a plane

2. Your favourite place in the world to wind down and relax ..? A nice long walk along the coast breathing in the fresh air. And also being underwater in the ocean, listening to the waves crash over your head.

What song would you say is  your personal anthem or theme song …? Wow, I haven’t thought of this one before, but within the last year I have absolutely fallen in love with the song from Sheppard- Geronimo. But I do have many songs I can relate to. Anything with a bongo drum gets me going.

If you could give yourself one piece of advice 5 years ago what would it be …? Don’t let other peoples opinions effect your who you are and your decisions in life. Believe in yourself everyday.

and What are five things in your life you just can’t live without …?
