Tegan Martin will take to the stage on January 25th (Miami ET) to represent Australia at the Miss Universe® International pageant in Doral, Miami at the Florida International University.
88 contestants from around the globe will take part in the competition which saw Jennifer Hawkins take out the title exactly 10 years ago. All contestants will be judged in three criteria – swimwear, eveningwear and the personal interview.
Hailing from Newcastle NSW, the same town as Miss Universe® 2004 Jennifer Hawkins, Tegan Martin’s determination paid off entering the Miss Universe® Australia pageant for the 3rd year! Tegan took out the crown on June 6th 2014 at the Sofitel Melbourne on Collins.
Tegan is currently studying Nutritional Science with a goal to one day to use the power of her nutritional medicine, health & wellbeing knowledge to shed some light on the issue of mental health in our youth. Tegan is also involved with a youth mentoring program outreaching to girls in schools suffering with self – confidence issues.
