Since its opening in 1981, the Paradise Centre has been a must-visit destination for travellers to the Gold Coast. Early next month, the beloved centre will open its new beachfront dining precinct, all part of the 40m dollar redevelopment of the property.
The new dining precinct offers a range of options for those visiting Surfers Paradise, with many of those classics we all know and love and Queensland’s very first Wahlburgers, legendary tex-mex restaurant El Camino Cantina, launching their first ever breakfast offering, and all-time American favourite TGI Fridays.
You will also be able to step off the sand and get your hands on forty refreshing varieties of gelato from the iconic Gelato Messina, who will be opening their second Gold Coast location and enjoy delectable dishes made using local and unique ingredients by Nahm Talay Thai; fresh and crowd-pleasing favourites from Hero Sushi; authentic Italian cuisine cooked with love by Enzo’s Cucina, La Playa’s premium barista-made coffee and modern Australian cuisine.
For those of us who love a bit of retail therapy, the opening also launches an expansion in retail offerings with the unveiling of the newly refurbished Eastern Mall; shoppers are invited to explore a collection of new clothing stores, including Baku Swimwear, Rip Curl, Stateside Sports and Dastaan Barber, which join the recently opened Surf Dive N’ Ski and Vans.
Adam McKean, Head of Retail, said Paradise Centre’s redevelopment has been long awaited and is ready to change the face of outdoor dining in Surfers Paradise.
“We’re so excited to welcome a new range of delicious, mouth-watering dining options and a stunning new exterior with beachfront views to the iconic Paradise Centre location so many locals and holidaymakers already know and love,” Adam said.
