New music festival on the block Rhyme Festival is bringing some of the biggest names in Aussie Hop Hop to the Gold Coast, with Illy, Drapht and the Thundamentals taking to the stage with some of the country’s best up-and-coming talent.

Taking place on June 17, the festival promises a great day of beats, brews and delicious food, with a number of local breweries and distilleries on board to serve up their favourite drops alongside some of the best food vendors dishing up low and slow bbq, loaded fries and gourmet burgers just a few of the options expected to be on offer.

Illy, one of Australia’s most successful hip-hop artists, is known for his captivating live shows and infectious beats. With a string of hit albums under his belt, including his latest release “The Space Between,” Illy is sure to get the crowd pumping with his energetic and engaging performances.

Drapht, another Australian hip-hop heavyweight, has been making waves in the music industry for over a decade. Known for his clever rhymes and smooth flow, Drapht’s live shows are always a crowd pleaser.

The Thundamentals, a four-piece hip-hop outfit hailing from the Blue Mountains, are known for their dynamic live performances and eclectic sound. With influences ranging from jazz to reggae to soul, The Thundamentals are sure to bring a unique and exciting flavor to the Rhyme Festival.
