Supercars Signs Record Broadcast Deal with Foxtel and Seven

Supercars secures record-breaking broadcast deal with Foxtel and Seven, delivering live, UHD, ad-free racing and global reach across 128 countries.

Supercars has entered a bold new era with the announcement of a landmark broadcast agreement, locking in a record-breaking multi-year deal with the Foxtel Group and Seven West Media. The agreement secures comprehensive coverage of Australia’s premier motorsport series across both subscription and free-to-air platforms, delivering unprecedented access to fans nationwide.

From 2025, every round of the Repco Supercars Championship will be broadcast live and ad-break free during racing on Kayo SPORTS and FOXTEL, with events available in ultra-high definition (UHD). Seven West Media will continue to provide free-to-air access to key marquee events including the iconic Repco Bathurst 1000, Boost Mobile Gold Coast 500 and the bp Adelaide Grand Final, via the Seven Network and 7plus.

Supercars CEO James Warburton called the announcement a “monumental day” for the sport and its growing fanbase. “This multi-year deal secures our future, delivers unprecedented access, and elevates how we showcase our sport,” he said. “The agreement with Foxtel Group and Seven is not only the biggest in our history, but demonstrates the strength, popularity and future potential of our category.”

The momentum doesn’t stop there. Supercars is also expanding its international footprint, with a four-year extension confirmed with Sky Sport in New Zealand, and global partnerships spanning 128 countries and 19 broadcasters. Coverage will now reach a potential audience of 325 million homes worldwide.

Foxtel Group CEO Patrick Delany emphasised the platform’s commitment to Australian motorsport. “2025 marks a decade since we redefined the fan experience for Supercars,” he said. “As Supercars shifts into an exciting new era, our Kayo SPORTS customers are in the driver’s seat to enjoy every moment… with uninterrupted access to every thrilling lap.”

Delany also highlighted Kayo SPORTS’ unique offering. “Nowhere else in the world can fans access every race of F1, MotoGP, NASCAR, World Superbikes, and the beloved local Supercars series – all live – on a single streaming platform.”

Seven West Media Managing Director and CEO Jeff Howard echoed the excitement, reinforcing Seven’s long-standing connection with the sport. “We’re passionate about motorsport at Seven, and there’s no greater motorsport in Australia than Supercars,” he said. “The addition of Toyota to the championship will be a true game changer and will take this great sport to a whole new level.”

The future of the sport looks fast and bright, with 2026 marking several major milestones: Toyota, the world’s largest automotive brand, joins the Supercars grid; a new-look Finals Series will be launched; and a double-header across the Tasman will debut in New Zealand’s South Island, including a spectacular event in Christchurch.

This new broadcast partnership guarantees fans can experience all of it — live, uninterrupted, and in world-class quality. As Warburton concluded, “It reinforces our position as one of Australia’s most watched and accessible sports, guaranteeing years of high-octane racing entertainment.”

The deal was officially announced at the 2025 Repco Bathurst 1000 launch party in Sydney, where Toyota and Walkinshaw Andretti United unveiled the first-ever Toyota GR Supra Supercar. Fans will get their first on-track look at the Supra during the Repco Bathurst 1000 from 9–12 October.
