Ice Cream lovers are you ready because the best time of year is upon us with Ben & Jerry’s kicking off FREE cone day tomorrow. which will see more than 120,000 scoops of ice cream given away at Ben & Jerrys.
Renowned for serving up a great scoop at Scoop Stores across Oz who will be scooping from 12 to 8 pm and they’re seeking to beat last year’s Free Cone Day record which saw Ben & Jerry’s dish out 108,620 scoops across Australia, with the most in Chatswood, NSW at 7,790 scoops, closely followed by Bondi, NSW at 6,990.
This year, ice cream aficionados may find themselves in a cone-undrum with the range of ice cream flavours on offer. There is everything from crowd favourites such as Phish Food, Non-Dairy and light ice cream options including Mocha Fudge Brownie.
“We’re nothing without our fans,” said CEO Matthew McCarthy. “This is one of our favourite days of the year and it’s a special tradition to say thank you to our fans. We can’t wait to see all the smiles and happiness Free Cone Day brings this year,” he said.
