: Red Bull Flying Bach returns to Australia in highly anticipated 'come-bach

our first visit to Australia in 2013 was a hige success and we’re really excited that this time, we can take the production to followers of the urban and classical worlds across multiple states and cities. “Red Bull Flying Bach really offers something unique – it introduces classical music to the street scene, but also allows high art fans to experience the best in urban dance.” Christoph Hagel, Artistic Director, Red Bull Flying Bach, adds: “The sharpness, freshness and coolness of Bach’s prelude and fugues work faultlessly with the dance style of the Flying Steps. When this type of breakdance comes together with the sound of piano and harpsichord, the incredible masterpieces of Bach are brought to life and made relevant for modern audience.”   Red Bull Flying Bach 2014 Australian tour dates are as follows:

  • State Theatre, Sydney: 4 shows, 9-12 September
  • Crown Theatre, Perth: 4 shows, 17-20 September
  • QPAC, Brisbane: 3 shows, 24-26 September
  • Arts Centre, Melbourne: 4 shows, 1-4 October
  • Festival Theatre, Adelaide: 3 shows, 7-9 October
